There are three primary delivery models by which public cloud service providers provide cloud infrastructure services and related services: Software-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) The three delivery models differ in terms of which aspects of the technology stack the customer will provide and which are outsourced.

A cloud service provider provides networking, data storage, servers, and virtualization capabilities in the IaaS model. The customer will be able to use as much computing and data storage capacity as they need, but they will need to supply their own software platform. Applications, data, middleware, operating systems, and runtime are all included in this.

A cloud service provider provides a software platform that includes operating systems, middleware, and runtime in the PaaS model in addition to the complete cloud infrastructure services (networks, servers, data, and virtualization). Customers will be able to develop, test, deploy, and operate their own applications in the cloud using the PaaS model without having to build their own IT infrastructure on-site, which typically comes at a cost and is often complicated.

A service provider delivers an application via a web-based portal in the SaaS model. The customer no longer has to keep any application-related data on their local hard drive because of this. The service provider's servers contain all of the data storage. Network:

Because users typically receive cloud resources via the internet, third-party service providers are required to construct and maintain the networking infrastructure that enables this. Servers:

A computer or device that has been programmed to offer a service to a customer or user is simply referred to as a server. There are many different kinds of servers, including web servers that use the HTTP protocol to serve HTML or PHP files, file servers that store a lot of information, and mail servers that send emails over the internet. Information can be stored on dedicated servers in private cloud deployments, whereas public cloud providers use the multi-tenant model and can use the same server to serve multiple customers.

Storage:

Instead of building their own physical data centers, businesses can store and manage data on off-site file servers with cloud storage services. Data and remote backups can be managed and maintained by third-party cloud storage providers like Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Storage, and Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3). The data that is stored in the cloud can be accessed via the internet or inquired into by other cloud-based applications. In cloud infrastructure, cold data—data that is not being used—can also be stored.

Virtualization: 

The most significant aspect of cloud infrastructure may be virtualization. Users are given the ability to interact with their cloud infrastructure through a graphical user interface because virtualization software separates the available data storage space as well as the computing power from the actual hardware. In cloud computing, computing resources and data storage are frequently virtualized, making it simpler for users to utilize these resources and reducing waste.
